New Fixed Lens Projector Lineup Includes Models with 4K Enhancement Technology, Short Throw Lenses and Higher Brightness

BARCELONA (ISE 2025, Epson Stand 3J100) – Feb. 4, 2025 – The demand for large, bright and unique displays is rising in corporate, educational and entertainment settings. In well-lit work and school spaces, content visibility and engagement are key, while in creative, immersive environments, projection needs include higher resolution and flexible placement for unique installs and close-up viewing. In response to these evolving industry demands, Epson, the number one selling projector brand worldwide,1 today announced 12 new 3-chip 3LCD PowerLite® L-Series laser projectors. The new PowerLite L-Series will be on display at ISE in Barcelona from Feb. 4-7 at Epson’s stand, 3J100.

The new lineup delivers higher brightness and pro level features in a portable design, with an expanded range of throw ratios that solve placement challenges. With standard throw projectors and newly added optical zoom on two short throw options, the PowerLite L-Series now covers an expansive range of throw ratios between .5 to 2.2. This allows greater installation flexibility across applications, from floor and rear projection to meeting rooms and lecture halls. Previously only available in Epson’s interchangeable lens lineup, the new projectors include robust installation tools such as NFC,2 advanced geometric correction and the optional PixAlign® camera for simplifying complex multi-projector installations such as screen matching, blending or stacking.

“It’s an exciting time in the industry as more end users embrace projection technology to light up and transform spaces into one-of-a-kind experiences,” said Chris Teguh, product manager at Epson America, Inc. “With these latest additions to Epson’s fixed-lens lineup of laser projectors, we are not only delivering enhanced brightness but extending throw ratio options and adding powerful features – once reserved for Epson’s higher-end projectors – now within reach for more users. Combining 3-chip and 4K Enhancement Technology3 that doubles HD resolution on screen, plus now up to 8,000 lumens4 of brightness and short throw zoom models, the new PowerLite L-Series is a very enticing lineup that offers impressive image quality and specs within its class.”

Powered by Epson’s 3-chip 3LCD technology, the new lineup includes an incredibly bright 8,000-lumen4 model along with options featuring Full HD WUXGA resolution and 4K Enhancement Technology3 for sharp, detailed images – even for up close viewing. Built for a variety of environments – classrooms and lecture halls, conference rooms, hybrid workspaces and more – these powerful projectors produce exceptionally vibrant, high-resolution images up to 500 inches in 16:10. Plus, they are capable of projecting in a variety of other aspect ratios, including ultra-wide 16:6 and 21:9 for enhanced content display and visibility.

Designed with convenience in mind, the PowerLite L-Series features sleek, lightweight chassis and up to 30,000-hour virtually maintenance-free laser light source and air filter5 in Extended Mode. These versatile projectors offer powerful features, such as optical zoom, wide lens shift, geometric correction tools, and more for simple and seamless installation. With built-in wireless communication, users can monitor and control projector fleets remotely from a web browser using the Epson Projector Management Connected app, as well as enable advanced screen casting tools like Epson iProjection™6 and Miracast®.6

Including various short throw models, different resolution options and ranging from up to 6,000- to 8,000-lumens of equal Color Brightness (IDMS Rated) and White Brightness (ISO Rated),4 the new PowerLite L-Series is designed to meet virtually any application.

Unlocking Educational Efficiency: A Case Study by eGoldFax

In the dynamic landscape of educational institutions, the need for streamlined processes is paramount. A recent case study highlights the transformative journey of a school district with multiple locations that faced operational challenges in its document processing workflows.

Challenge: Escalating Costs and Operational Disruptions The school district, equipped with multiple multifunction printers (MFPs), found itself entangled in rising costs with each new machine addition. The demand for additional fax boards and lines created a financial strain. During critical periods like back-to-school, the reliance on fax for transfer records led to a significant surge in usage. Outdated fax equipment exacerbated the problem, resulting in consistent missed faxes and operational disruptions.

Solution: eGoldFax to the Rescue Recognizing the urgent need for a comprehensive solution, eGoldFax stepped in. Their mission: to revolutionize document processing in educational institutions. By providing secure, reliable, and efficient fax services, eGoldFax addressed the challenges head-on. The introduction of their solution aimed to eradicate busy signals and eliminate fax job failures.

Results: A Transformative Impact The outcomes were nothing short of transformative for the school district:

  • Enhanced Security: Sensitive documents were no longer at risk. eGoldFax ensured the protection and secure transmission of crucial information. Benefit from TLS 1.2, HTTPS encryption, and PCI-DSS Level 1 for data security.
  • No More Busy Signals: The elimination of busy signals streamlined communication, ensuring that every fax reached its intended recipient promptly.
  • Improved Workflow: A transition to receiving documents in a digital format (PDF) marked a pivotal change. This not only eliminated the need for labor-intensive scanning and shredding but also significantly improved overall workflow, reducing operational costs.

eGoldFax: Revolutionizing Educational Document Management This case study serves as a testament to eGoldFax’s ability to revolutionize document processing in educational institutions. Beyond the realm of fax solutions, eGoldFax brings about enhanced security, reduced waste, and an improved learning environment for students and staff alike. As educational institutions seek modern solutions to streamline their operations, eGoldFax stands out as a trusted partner in their transformative journey. Explore the possibilities with eGoldFax to unlock efficiency and security in your educational workflows.
