Immersive Retail Shopping Experience

Through Projection and Digital Signage

Leveraging the Power of Projection to Offer Personalized, Memorable Shopping ExperiencesJune 29, 2022 ProjectorsLarge Venue ProjectorsDigital Signage

LOS ALAMITOS, Calif. – June 29, 2022 – Retailers today are tasked with creating engaging and entertaining shopping, as customers desire more memorable events and experiences. Many retailers have turned to experiential digital signage to provide interactive, dynamic and eye-catching moments that heighten shoppers’ experiences and ultimately drive an increase in sales. Lighter, smaller and brighter, laser projectors today are adapting and innovating with new technology to meet the demand of elevating retail stores and spaces to better enhance the overall shopping experience and make it more personal, unique and interactive.

Dallas-based Glass-Media, helps brands enhance customer experiences by transforming retail environments through proprietary, projection-based illuminations. CEO and founder of Glass-Media, Inc. Daniel Black notes, “In addition to significant improvements in the product development roadmaps from leading OEMs coupled with the plethora of emerging display technologies, we’re seeing a rather prompt and exciting shift towards new and improved techniques in content creation, such as anamorphic 3D optical illusions, pixel mapping and holographic animations.”

Following are a few considerations and insights for creating one-of-a-kind experiences with dynamic, eye-catching displays that can elevate a brand, drive customer engagement and increase sales:

  • Elevate: Create an inviting retail space with contextual information projected on nearly any surface type. Make every trip to the store a remarkable shopping event by making customers feel connected to products and wanting to stay longer to engage and enjoy the moment. Visual merchandising with interactive product call-outs, comparisons and cross-merchandising are creative ways to enhance displayed merchandise. Illuminating available floorspace to direct customers, provide wait times, or optimize space enhances the customer’s shopping experience.
  • Design: Think BIG with a massive illuminated wall that can draw a crowd with large-than-life displays. Or use smaller effects to make a big impression by implementing individualized applications, demonstrations and comparisons that will captivate customers and drive sales. Grab customers attention with stunning floor-to-ceiling displays and transform traditional brick-and-mortar venues into storytelling showrooms by converting virtually any surface into a dynamic digital display.
  • Experience: Transport customers to another world by creating an aspirational environment. Share what the retail brand can offer by showing the places they can travel to or see when shopping and purchasing products. Delight shoppers with dynamic messaging on products and surrounding areas and display hidden product features and possibilities. Guide customers with wayfinding signage to interactive displays, taking advantage of floorspace.
  • Fascinate: By using innovative projection technology, retailers can activate any surface with product details and change content instantly. Retailers can unleash the story behind products by highlighting seasonal themes, sharing relevant product information such as availability, inventory and more. With digital visual merchandising, retailers can engage customers more deeply, create a mood and make the overall shopping experience impactful.

“Consumers today seek interactivity that elevates their shopping trips by what they feel, hear, see, smell, and touch,” said Remi Del Mar, product manager, Epson America, Inc. “Projected digital signage solutions continue to innovate and offer impressive tools for integrating creativity and adding personalization as more retailers look to evolve the shopping experience for their customers.”

From compact PowerLite® solutions with several lens options to the unique spotlight form factor LightScene®, Epson offers a range of powerful, flexible digital signage projectors that deliver sharp, true-to-life images for small or large applications. Powered by a virtually maintenance-free, 20,000-hour laser light source with no lamps to replace,1 Epson’s expansive lineup of projectors for digital signage come with a suite of innovative software tools for content management and remote control, enabling retailers to create engaging, captivating experiences that enhance customer service, improve operational efficiency, deliver impromptu wayfinding, and much more.

Epson WorkForce Enterprise Business

Posted on Leave a comment

FAQs: Is the Epson WorkForce Enterprise Right for my Business?

The Epson WorkForce® Enterprise uses powerful PrecisionCore Heat-Free Technology™ for a simplified printing process that requires few serviceable parts. That means low cost, low maintenance, and few interventions, so you can focus on managing employees, serving your customers, and growing your business.

Why should we bring printing on-site?

Stop dealing with roadblocks like wait times, vendor contracts, and availability. With the ability to print up to 100 pages per minute1 with fast-drying DURABrite Inks and 40 million dots per second for ultimate precision, the Epson WorkForce Enterprise provides exceptional value and quality while easily keeping pace with changing demands and requirements. So by bringing printing on-site, your business can gain more complete control over quality and output — whether you’re printing for internal purposes or important client work.

What am I able to print with the Epson WorkForce Enterprise beyond basic black and white copies?

With Epson, your business can produce a variety of new and high-quality materials for customers, prospects, and employees alike. The Epson WorkForce Enterprise is made for heavy-duty cycles — our WF-C21000 has a recommended duty cycle of 100,000 pages per month — with finishing capabilities that support stapling, stacking, hole punch, and booklet-making2.

Our PrecisionCore Heat-Free Technology™ makes Epson inkjet processes more efficient for low-cost, high-quality color printing. You can create sharp, vivid graphics and text with crisp, consistent color — even when it comes to large jobs. And with our DURABrite Ink packs, you get brilliant, high-yield color and fast-drying ink that’s water-resistant and won’t smudge or fade.

Is it easy to integrate Epson printers with existing office software?

Yes! The WorkForce Enterprise series is a flexible line made to be integrated into both existing IT systems and workflows involving other printers. Using Epson Open Platform technology and embedded PaperCut software, the WorkForce Enterprise MFP can be easily integrated into your operations.

Can my organization expect cost and energy savings?

Epson business printers are designed to reduce waste over the life of the product by using few maintenance parts and high-yield consumables, and the WorkForce Enterprise is specifically made to use up to 85% less energy than top-selling color laser office printers.3

Our revolutionary PrecisionCore Heat-Free Technology™ makes Epson printers energy efficient while minimal maintenance parts and high-yield ink help reduce the number of consumables needed to print. We also help reduce electric consumption by eliminating heat from both the warmup and ink ejection processes. And the automatic double-sided printing feature lets you print on both sides of a sheet of paper to help cut paper usage.

Why should I consider inkjet printers for my business?

While most of the energy expended by printers is consumed during active print jobs, they can also use a significant amount during warmup and standby mode. Laser printers are prime offenders because they need to heat the toner drum to enable printing. But with PrecisionCore Heat-Free Technology™, Epson printers don’t require heat to print, so there’s no need for warm-up time — that means low power consumption and fast printing times.

High-capacity ink supplies and minimal maintenance parts also translate to low cost, low maintenance, and few interventions for your staff. The Epson WorkForce ST-4000 Supertank, for instance, comes with a guaranteed two-years-worth of ink, along with a two-year hardware limited warranty.4

What happens if my machine needs maintenance?

Our printers are designed to be low maintenance to help mitigate down time. But if something goes wrong, Epson’s network of service resources is here to provide an exceptional customer experience. Where available, our remote services can help diagnose issues and help minimize down time with preventative alerts.

When it comes to in-person servicing, our BusinessFirst Platinum Dealers can provide technical support. And for installation and field service needs, we provide a single resource where network technicians are available.

Does the WorkForce Enterprise come highly recommended?

Yes! In addition to the many businesses successfully using WorkForce Enterprise MFPs, we’ve been recognized by some of the most important voices in business printing. In just the last couple of years, we’ve won Silver in Product Line of the Year at the Best in Biz Awards, the Cannata Report 2020 Frank Award for Best Technical Service, and the Keypoint Intelligence in its BLI Winter 2021 Pick Awards for Outstanding Achievement in Innovation for Departmental Finishing Capabilities.

What’s more, PCMag, Tom’s Guide, Digital.com, and other leading industry outlets agree that the WorkForce Enterprise offers some of the best printing solutions for businesses available on the market today.

EB-PU2010B WUXGA 3LCD Laser Projector with 4K Enhancement. Premium, compact large-venue laser projector with 4K Enhancement

LOS ALAMITOS, Calif. – April 27, 2022 – Epson, the number-one selling projector brand worldwide,1 today announced it is now shipping the new EB-PU 2100 and 2200 Pro Series interchangeable lens projectors for live event and large venue installations. Offering 13,000, 16,000 and 20,000 lumen2 options, the new lineup includes the world’s smallest and lightest 20,000 lumen projectors3 – EB-PU2220B and EB-PU2120W – which are 60% smaller and 50% lighter than their predecessors. Representing a new era in large venue and live event projection, the new compact, ultra-lightweight, 3LCD projectors join Epson’s existing Pro Series interchangeable lens line-up offering high-powered projection ranging from 6,000 to 30,000 lumens of equal color and white brightness.2

The new Pro Series models are packed with an advanced tool set and 3-chip 3LCD technology along with WUXGA resolution with 4K Enhancement Technology4 to deliver crystal-clear, lifelike images. Powered by a 20,000-hour virtually maintenance-free laser light source,5 the new line boasts convenient features ideal for live events, including liquid cooling for enhanced longevity and reliability, 3G-SDI input and output to accommodate daisy-chaining and long cable runs, along with a mechanical shutter to help protect the projectors during laser light shows. The projectors also feature a hermetically sealed optical engine for high dust resistance and a filter-less cabinet for low-maintenance operation.

“Epson is thrilled to offer this new series of high-performance projectors. The engineering team listened and incorporated feedback from Epson customers around the world, leaving no aspect of the new design untouched,” said Gavin Downey, group product manager, large venue projectors, Epson America, Inc. “We’ve already received incredible excitement around the new models, particularly the tremendous size and weight reduction of the 20,000-lumen models, which can translate into real-world savings on delivery, labor and warehouse storage costs while providing world class 3-chip image quality.”

Additionally, Epson’s new optional PixAlignTM camera attaches to the projector and adds another layer of convenience with access to powerful installation tools such as projector stacking assist function,6 tiling assist6 for edge blends, color calibration,7 and screen matching.7 With the PixAlign camera,7 users also have access to the Simple Stacking function to quickly stack two projectors using just the remote controller. The new projectors also pair with Epson’s extensive lens family, including an ultra short-throw .35 lens with a unique zero offset design, for added flexibility during installation and when projecting in tight spaces. Offering substantial advantages for rental and staging markets, this new line of projectors simplifies setup and maintenance for an efficient and less intensive installation process.

The six new projectors also come equipped with Near Field Communication (NFC) functionality8 and the easy-to-use Epson Projector Configuration Tool (EPCT)9 Android™ and iOS® mobile app, to streamline multi-projector installations. Users can also control and monitor multiple projectors in a single, large space with Epson Projector Professional Tool (EPPT)10 and easily manage installed inventory with Epson Projector Management.11
