The Epson WorkForce Pro WF-C879R is based on Epson’s excellent PrecisionCore ink technology, using very little power and also requiring fewer consumable parts than laser-toner-fuser-drum-based systems. That means less user intervention, fewer service calls, and, most importantly, lower cost per print. The printhead doesn’t touch the paper and no heat is applied so a wide range of papers are supported including high gloss and luster for photographic or high-resolution output.
