You can update the projector’s firmware using a USB storage device or a computer and a USB cable.
If a firmware update is available for your product, you can select the Firmware Update option in the projector’s Initial/All Settings menu. The projector enters firmware update mode and is ready to perform a firmware update. If a firmware update file is not found, the projector enters standby mode.
You can download your firmware update file from your product’s support page or use the Epson Projector Management software to check for firmware updates for your product.

Contrast Ratio
Contrast ratio is the difference between light and dark on a screen, expressed by a number. If you take the brightest white on a screen and the darkest black and compare the luminosity, you get the contrast ratio. Resolution
Resolution is the number of dots or pixels used to display an image. Higher resolutions mean that more pixels are used to create the image, resulting in a crisper, cleaner image. High resolution is important for projecting detailed charts and graphs, text, and high-definition video. The resolution is indicated by a number combination such as 1920 x 1200. When Simpson was using laser printers, they frequently experienced paper jams in the middle of a job. Paper jams require the operator to spend more time hands on, double checking the prints for duplicates or missing pages. Epson Announces Availability of Production Printers Featuring Compact Design and Advanced Performance.Tweet this
Epson’s latest wide format technology and offers some significant advantages over the previous generation. The new line replaces the T3270/5270/7270 models. The new 5770 & 7770 models are offered as dual roll models only. The printer only versions are available to order now, with the embedded scanner version expected to be available mid-May. Scanners are not an option to be added later. If you are looking for multi-function versions, wait for the DM version of these models and expect a May availability.
One of the things you will notice is that the new models will be more expensive than the old single roll models. The good news is that the 700ml inks are about $55 cheaper, for each color ink cartridge.
These new T-Series offers a 6th color (as opposed to the previous 5), including a true Red Color station. Also, there will be a stacker available for these models, expected in a few months, which will offer convenient stacking of up to 50 prints.

LOS ALAMITOS, Calif. – Sept. 20, 2022 – Epson America, a worldwide leader in inkjet printing solutions, today announced Keypoint Intelligence has presented the Epson WorkForce® Enterprise portfolio of MFP line head printers with a Buyers Lab (BLI) Security Validation seal for Device Penetration. Recognized for device security strength, the WF-C21000, WF-C20750, WF-C20600, and WF-M21000 firmware were subjected to a challenging test conducted by a third-party white-hat hacker and passed the rigorous evaluation.
“Our pen testing is designed to probe the device’s firmware and OS to determine if there are vulnerabilities a bad actor could exploit to access the MFP and wider network,” explained Jamie Bsales, director, Office Workflow and Security Analysis, Keypoint Intelligence. “The Epson WorkForce Enterprise series firmware joins a select group that has proven to us that, when properly configured, the devices present a low risk of attack.”
Keypoint Intelligence created the neutral, third-party security testing benchmark program that standardizes the requirements for output device and office IoT (Internet of Things) security. Its Device Penetration test consists of a combination of automated tools and manual exploitation attempts by certified security experts to probe for potential vulnerabilities in the device firmware/OS, ports, print protocols, embedded web page, connectivity avenues, and more.
